📢 Important Instructions: Generating & Managing LDAP (For Accessing Internet) & Student Institutional Email Account
🔐 1. LDAP Accounts for Internet Access
- For Students: Student will enter his/her basic details as given in the MIS at the time of admission. After successful match, credentials will be sent to his/her registered email which he/she has provided in MIS at the time admission.
- For Employees: Employee of the institute will fill the required details and submit the form for getting it approved from the department. Once departmental approval is given, credentials will be emailed to the employee's email-id that he/she has used in the request form.
- Change Information/Password: Use the "Change Information/Pwd" section to update LDAP account details.
- Reset Password: Use the "Reset Password" option to recover LDAP password.
📧 2. NITRR Institutional Email (UG/PG Students Only)
- Generate E-Mail: Student will enter his/her basic details as given in the MIS at the time of admission. After successful match, credentials will be sent to his/her registered email which he/she has provided in MIS at the time of admission.
🆔 3. APAAR-ID Registration (Students Only)
- Registration: Student will enter his/her basic details as given in the MIS at the time of admission. After successful match, OTP will be sent on the registered email-id. This OTP will be matched in the page and then APAAR-ID can be entered and saved.
🛠️ 4.LDAP Department Admin Login
- Login:On this page, the departmental admin will be prompted to enter the ID and password ( which are already provided by ldapmaster@nitrr.ac.in ). If the credentials are valid, the admin will be able to view, activate, and block employees' LDAP accounts within their respective department.
⚠️ Suggested Security Practices
- Do not share your LDAP credentials with anyone.
- Use a strong, unique password (8 characters, including uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters).
- Change your password regularly
- Always lock your computer screen when stepping away from your system.
